Valentine's day: for lovers and haters

I have read so many posts on Facebook, twiter and blogs today. Most of them are about love and Valentine's day. That doesn't surprise me but what does surprise me is that almost half of that presents happiness and the belief in Valentine's miracle while the other half display cynical and negative attitudes toward the day.

When have we become this negative?

I blame enlightenment for that. We have been taught to reason everything and we learned so many things in school but how to live and how to love. We have questioned everything in front of us but we never question why we have to question and what makes us question what we question.

Who sets the rule?

We don't have to be in a relationship to appreciate the Valentine's day and we definitely don't have to hate the day or feel awkwardly cynical toward the day beause we are single or freshly dumped.

All I want to say for today is that "Let's keep the Valentine spirit going!" It is always nice to feel the love in the air, isn't it?
